I missed it this year, the pictures included above are of 2 years ago. This foundation has raised millions towards research, the diagnosis and treatment of cancer. This race which becomes of the most sought after and highly participated events of Central Ohio. Continuing to focus on stories of strength and survival. Just because the race has ended doesn’t mean the journey is over. Please continue to support this organization and others that help to uplift and outreach women diagnosed with cancer.

*There are more than 2,100 women living with breast cancer in Franklin County today.
*Breast cancer incidence is 131 per 100,000 women. That’s above both state and national averages.
*Breast cancer mortality is 27.8 per 100,000 women, also above both state and national averages.
*12.9 percent of women are uninsured; above the state average of 11 percent.
*Only 52 percent of women older than age 40 report getting their recommended annual mammogram.
